                                    ASSESSORS MEETING MEETINGS

                                                APRIL 30, 2012

1:00 P.M.         Called meeting to order. Present: Paula B. Keefe, Ellen W. Abelson,

                        Richard B. Gorden and Mark J. Mazur.

1. The Board agreed to meet with a taxpayer whose Fiscal Year 2012

application for abatement was denied.

2. The Administrative Assessor talked to the Board about his April 24, 2012 meeting with the Board of Selectmen to discuss the relationship between assessment levels and tax rates.

3. The Board read an email from a taxpayer concerning the relationship

between assessment levels and tax rates.

4. The Board took the following actions on Fiscal Year 2012 applications

for abatement for the owners of the following properties:

                                    Parcel   132-31             Granted

                                    Parcel   139-5               Denied

                                    Parcel   141-2               Denied

                                    Parcel   42-22               Granted

                                    Parcel   86-16               Denied

                                    Parcel   76-1                 Denied

            Personal Property Acct. # 30                Denied

            Personal Property Acct. # 118  Denied

5. The Board reconsidered the Fiscal Year 2012 abatement application for

parcel 82-49. However, the Board decided not to grant another abatement on the property.

6. The Board decided to hold their next Board meeting at 12:30 P.M. on

Monday, May 14, 2012
